It all started in 2019 when I bought a set of wooden earrings...

My husband, Brody, who owns and operates a wood products manufacturing facility, had been thinking of ways to utilize the thousands of broken pieces of wood accumulated during production at his mill.

The light bulb went off in his head.

"Why did you buy those? We can make them!" - he said.

I loved the idea.

So, in between being a full time teacher and a Mom to five kids, I went to work.

I pulled hundreds of ideas from photos, made prototypes, gathered friends & family together for feedback (and wine) and started setting things in place.

Now we're making some beautiful, lightweight ear candy - all by hand in a little shop in Maine.

And the best part...

We found a way to keep so much wood from ending up in a landfill!
